Behind each project, there are a few artists:

• First the client who comes with an idea, a picture or a drawing
• Then Philippe the blacksmith, with his 37 years experience working  with metal.

They are planning the creation together.

With his expertise, according to the intended use and degree of exposition to the elements of the proposed commission, Philippe will make recommendations as for the material to be used (mild steel, stainless steel, copper, brass…) and the finish to be applied (natural, paint, hot dip galvanization): Philippe’s preference, where possible, always goes towards a natural oiled finish which preserves, the character, the texture of the hand forged item.
